Ghost Lips from theTrickster by Dennis Boisvert

Prepare yourself for a thrilling journey through shadowed forests, haunted hills, and the darkest corners of the human spirit.

Ghost Lips from the Trickster by Dennis Boisvert is a gripping Civil War adventure that blends powerful emotion, rich historical detail, and a chilling dose of the supernatural. Sergeant Victor Peters is a man on the run— from enemies, from fate, and from forces far more mysterious than he ever imagined. When he breaks free into unknown territory, the world around him begins to twist into something strange, something otherworldly. What starts as a daring escape quickly becomes a high stakes struggle for survival, as Victor finds himself drawn into a realm ruled not just by soldiers, but by secrets and spirits. Just as God empowered Paul through the Holy Spirit so mightily that even aprons and handkerchiefs he had touched carried healing power, Victor’s journey suggests that unseen forces can turn the ordinary into the miraculous when the divine intersects with the desperate. Ghost Lips from the Trickster takes you off the battlefield and into a place where dreams collide with danger, and where the line between the living and the dead is razor-thin.

Dennis Boisvert’s passion for storytelling began in childhood, after hearing family members recount stories about his grand-uncle, a Union Army soldier, who left behind a diary describing life during the Civil War. Inspired by real family history, Dennis became fascinated with the era, diving into books on the war, folklore, ghost stories, and the supernatural. Over time, he began writing his own stories—mixing history with imagination—and kept them for years. Ghost Lips from the Trickster is one of those stories, shaped by a lifelong interest in the strange, the spiritual, and the human spirit during times of conflict.

With sharp, vivid writing, Boisvert pulls readers into a suspenseful tale full of eerie encounters, cryptic visions, and unexpected allies. Each chapter brims with tension and heart, taking you deeper into a world where nothing is quite what it seems—and where the past refuses to stay buried.
